Elk jaar wordt het aanbod groter (en mooier) op dit gebied. Merken als Stetson, Brixton en talloze anderen ademen oude klassiekers weer nieuw leven in. Mijn persoonlijke favorieten zijn een Porkpie hat (Kangol) of een Hatteras Newsboy cap ( Stetson).<\/span><\/p>\n

Maar deze keer wilde ik voor de zomermaanden nou eens iets anders erbij hebben. En ook nog het liefst gemaakt van denim. Ik was gelijk weg van de “Machinist cap” van Rising Sun Denim. De machinist cap, zoals de naam al doet vermoeden was oorspronkelijk ontworpen voor een specifieke groep arbeiders. In dit geval spoorweg personeel en arbeiders in de industrie. <\/span><\/p>\n

Rising Sun Denim is bij de echte denim liefhebber geen onbekende. Dit kleine denimmerk uit Californi\u00eb maakt kwalitatief hoogwaardige kledingstukken die klasse en autenticiteit uitstralen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vaak zie je deze cap terug op oude foto’s en kleding illustraties uit de periode 1900 – 1950. Rising Sun brengt
\n<\/span>dit klassieke ontwerp weer helemaal terug voor de moderne tijd.\u00a0<\/span>Gemaakt van lichtgewicht denim en daardoor erg geschikt om te dragen bij warm weer.\u00a0<\/span>Er zit een verstelknoop met het Rising Sun logo aan de achterkant van de cap. <\/span><\/p>\n

Innovatiefste kenmerk van deze cap is dat de zonneklep aan de voorkant omhoog of omlaag geklapt kan worden. Dit is mogelijk omdat de klep verstevigd is met meerdere horizontale stiksels waardoor deze in de positie blijft staan waarin je hem buigt. <\/span><\/p>\n

Waar kan je hem bij dragen? Voor een 40’s en 50’s look past hij bijvoorbeeld erg goed bij een denim werkbroek, werkjas en een type 1 Levi’s jack. Een tijdloos design waarmee je echt alle kanten mee op kan.<\/span><\/p>\n
