										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In 2002 begonnen en in 2014 geëindigd. Atelier LaDurance had een kort leven. Maar in dat korte leven een hoop op de wereld gebracht.</p>
<p>Gerard Backx startte in 2002 het Frans/Nederlandse merk Atelier LaDurance. Hij nam al snel <a href="http://www.stormhand.com/atelier-ladurance" target="_blank">Boy Bastiaens</a> aan, die van Atelier LaDurance een zeer uitgesproken merk maakte. De grote vierkante zakken, het kruis op de zak, de gele naden en de dikke leren patch kenmerken Atelier LaDurance.<br />
De binnenzak bestond uit een blauw-wit of een rood-wit geblokt stofje. Blauw voor de mannen en rood voor de vrouwen. De kleine details die het merk groot maakte.</p>

<p>Wanneer je één van de broeken kocht van ALD kreeg je er een repairkit bij. Gewoon als stukje service naar de klant toe. Dit was al snel een hebben-dingetje voor elke denimhead.</p>

<p>Zelf heb ik een jack van Atelier LaDurance – Royal Jacket. En dat is het zeker. Een prachtig jasje wat bijzonder snel gaat faden. Na drie keer dragen zijn al de eerste sporen te zien in mijn ellebogen.<br />
Stug 14 OZ denim met wederom de dikke leren patch aan de onderzijde van het jasje. De herkenbare kruizen op de zakken en de knopen met daarop de lauwerkrans. Kortom een pracht stukje denim.<br />
