										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Met tientallen boeken over denim zou je verwachten dat de markt al aardig verzadigd is. Maar niets is minder waar CODE wist met het Book Of Denim nog een gaatje te vullen dat vrij was.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Met verhalen die je meenemen naar bergachtige landschappen in Colombia, en daar de blauwe deuren van de “verborgen” denim industrie in </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Don Matías</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> voor je openen. Of Marokko, wat hard op weg is om één van grootste denimproducenten ter wereld te worden. Daarnaast lees je ook interviews met “</span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">VIP’s” </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">(Very Indigo People, in dit geval), zoals  Andrew Olah (Olah Inc., Kingpins), Mariette Hoitink (o.a. HTNK, House Of Denim &amp; Denim City) en verzamelaar Ali van A Noble Savage.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fotografie vind ik belangrijk. Al is je verhaal nog zo goed, foto&#8217;s ondersteunen je verhaal in een boek. En dat snappen ze maar al te goed bij CODE: alle foto&#8217;s zijn speciaal voor het Book Of Denim gemaakt. Fotografie waar je denimhart sneller van gaat kloppen!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Zelf zou ik dit boek omschrijven als een goede samenvatting van de 25 boeken die ik in mijn bezit heb. Mooi geschreven verhalen, de nodige achtergrondinfo en context, en prachtige fotografie.</span></p>
